Stable (STABLE) Token Unlock & Vesting Schedule
The chart shows gross modeled releases of every allocation: vesting unlocks, new issuance and reserve distributions, each allocation counted once. These have different meanings; a scheduled release is not evidence that tokens entered circulation or were sold. Review the coverage, sources and assumptions below.
Each color segment in the chart corresponds to a specific allocation group described in the Allocations section below. Underlying assumptions and data models used to reconstruct this schedule are explained in detail under Assumptions, while broader utility insights and token use cases are covered in Tokenomics & Utility.
Tokenomics & Utility
Supply and distribution
The total supply is fixed at 100 billion STABLE. The published allocation assigns 40% to ecosystem and community growth, 25% to the team, 25% to investors and advisers, and 10% to the genesis distribution. The genesis portion was intended to help launch network use and support early participants. The ecosystem portion supports work such as developer programs, integrations, and user onboarding. The token has several connected jobs. Staking and delegation support validator selection. Governance gives holders a way to take part in protocol decisions. The network collects transaction fees in USDT0; validators may share fee distributions with people who delegate STABLE to them. These uses give the token a role in network coordination even though it stays out of the usual payment path. (docs.stable.xyz)
The project’s whitepaper describes a Universal Lock for tokens held in locked allocations. It sets out staged releases beginning in December 2027 and running toward December 2029, with conditions that can delay individual stages. The schedule applies to the locked team, investor and foundation pools. In this way, the distribution plan separates tokens available for early ecosystem activity from those set aside for longer-term participants. (stable.xyz)
Assumptions
STABLE has a fixed supply of 100 billion tokens, all created in a single issuance on 8 December 2025. Of these, 10 billion (genesis distribution) and 8 billion (the Foundation's day-one unlock) were available at launch. The other 82 billion (team, investors and the rest of the Foundation's ecosystem pool) fall under a Universal Lock effective 5 October 2026, released in seven daily-linear stages from December 2027 to December 2029. The chart shows these stages as scheduled; any stage can be deferred by up to nine months if the 30-day average price is below $0.025, and the 11 billion validator allocation has no separate release date.
