Shark Cat (SC) Token Unlock & Vesting Schedule
The chart shows gross modeled releases of every allocation: vesting unlocks, new issuance and reserve distributions, each allocation counted once. These have different meanings; a scheduled release is not evidence that tokens entered circulation or were sold. Review the coverage, sources and assumptions below.
Each color segment in the chart corresponds to a specific allocation group described in the Allocations section below. Underlying assumptions and data models used to reconstruct this schedule are explained in detail under Assumptions, while broader utility insights and token use cases are covered in Tokenomics & Utility.
Tokenomics & Utility
Supply and ownership
The listed maximum supply for SC is one billion tokens. A maximum supply describes the upper limit associated with a token; it is different from the amount held in wallets or available to exchange at a particular moment. For Shark Cat, the supply figure is useful background, but it does not describe how many people own the token or how actively they use it. (coingecko.com)
SC’s documented utility is straightforward. Holders can keep it in a Solana wallet, send it to another wallet, or swap it on supported exchanges. Ownership can also be a way to take part in the token’s shared online identity. The project’s public materials focus on art and community activity rather than on a detailed system of token rewards or voting rights. (sharkcatsolana.org)
That distinction is helpful when reading about the project. The meme maker and merchandise store are parts of the wider Shark Cat experience, but their presence alone does not make SC a required payment token for either service. The token’s clearest role is as a transferable asset linked to the character and its community.
Assumptions
The chart shows an estimated one-billion-SC mint when Shark Cat was created on March 26, 2024; it does not treat later trading of those tokens as new supply. No separately quantified allocation or vesting schedule was found. The reported lower supply in September 2026 cannot be reconciled to a verified burn total from the accessible sources, so the chart is incomplete.
