Prom (PROM)
Unlock Schedule
Prom (PROM) Token Unlock & Vesting Schedule
The chart shows gross modeled releases of every allocation: vesting unlocks, new issuance and reserve distributions, each allocation counted once. These have different meanings; a scheduled release is not evidence that tokens entered circulation or were sold. Review the coverage, sources and assumptions below.
Each color segment in the chart corresponds to a specific allocation group described in the Allocations section below. Underlying assumptions and data models used to reconstruct this schedule are explained in detail under Assumptions, while broader utility insights and token use cases are covered in Tokenomics & Utility.
Tokenomics & Utility
Supply and network fees
PROM’s stated maximum supply is 19.25 million tokens. An earlier project report records private and public fundraising in 2019 as part of its initial distribution. For everyday network use, the key feature is simpler: PROM is Prom’s gas token. Gas is the fee paid to process a transaction or run a smart contract. Sending assets, using an application, or deploying a contract on Prom calls for network fees paid in PROM. (support.tokocrypto.com)
The token also connects network use with governance. Prom DAO’s memorandum describes a voting model in which one PROM represents one vote. Holders can delegate voting power to another participant rather than vote on every proposal themselves. The DAO process includes steps for discussing, voting on, and reviewing proposals, so owning tokens is one part of how a decision moves toward implementation. (prom.io)
Prom’s documentation describes roles for delegates and governance validators, including rewards tied to network fees. These are governance roles with duties in the proposal process. The project also presents PROM as a way to access network services and support participation across its ecosystem. In short, its economic model links demand for the token to transactions, applications, and community decision-making. (prom.gitbook.io)
Assumptions
PROM's 20,000,000 tokens were all created at launch in July 2019, and later 750,000 were sent to a burn address, leaving 19,250,000. The chart shows 8,850,000 tokens with dated releases: the public sale and 40% of the private round at launch, the rest of the private round in January 2020, and the reserve and team budgets vesting linearly from mid-2020 to early 2022 and early 2023. The community and minting (9,000,000), liquidity pool (1,150,000) and ecosystem (1,000,000) budgets have no release dates in any source I found. Most allocation sizes and the reserve and team schedules come from secondary data sites, and the start dates are inferred, so those parts are estimates.
- Community & Minting (45%): The sources give the amount but no release dates.
- Liquidity Pool (5.75%): The sources give the amount but no release dates.
- Ecosystem (5%): The sources give the amount but no release dates.
