PacMoon (PAC) Token Unlock & Vesting Schedule
The chart shows gross modeled releases of every allocation: vesting unlocks, new issuance and reserve distributions, each allocation counted once. These have different meanings; a scheduled release is not evidence that tokens entered circulation or were sold. Review the coverage, sources and assumptions below.
Each color segment in the chart corresponds to a specific allocation group described in the Allocations section below. Underlying assumptions and data models used to reconstruct this schedule are explained in detail under Assumptions, while broader utility insights and token use cases are covered in Tokenomics & Utility.
Tokenomics & Utility
PacMoon’s published token allocation described a maximum supply of one billion PAC. It assigned 40% to community airdrops and 30% to community rewards. The remaining shares were 15% for the treasury, 12.25% for contributors, and 2.75% for exchange-related needs. Together, the two community categories accounted for 70% of the stated allocation. This design put distribution to participants at the center of the original economic model. (coincarp.com)
Airdrops supplied tokens to eligible members, including creators. The rewards pool supported the broader goal of encouraging posts and engagement over time. Treasury and contributor allocations gave the project resources for its operations, while the exchange-related share supported access to the token. An allocation describes the intended division of tokens; the experience of using PAC depended on the campaigns the team actually ran. (coincarp.com)
PAC’s clearest recorded utility was as a community reward and a way to take part in PacMoon’s social programs. During V2, holding enough PAC also opened the social-validator role. After the ARMY launch, the team’s announced migration process became another major part of PAC’s history. The original token remains identifiable by its Blast contract, while ARMY has its own identity on Solana. (decrypt.co)
Assumptions
PacMoon's published budgets divide one billion PAC among a community airdrop, community rewards, treasury, contributors and liquidity. The chart can place the first airdrop's claim opening in March 2024 and estimate a May 2024 opening for Airdrop 3, but most spending and release dates remain unknown. A separate, explicitly estimated March 2024 creation point represents the reported supply; it is not additional to those budgets. Reports of destroyed unclaimed tokens and the later PAC-to-ARMY migration could not be reconciled to a verified current supply or cumulative burn total.
- Airdrop 2 creator prizes: Only secondary sources describe the timing, so it is not confirmed.
- Community rewards announced after Airdrops 1 and 2: Releases depend on recipients claiming tokens or on grants being awarded.
- Treasury: Releases depend on future governance or treasury decisions.
- Contributors: The sources give the amount but no release dates.
- Liquidity: The sources give the amount but no release dates.
