MemeCore (M) Token Unlock & Vesting Schedule
The chart shows gross modeled releases of every allocation: vesting unlocks, new issuance and reserve distributions, each allocation counted once. These have different meanings; a scheduled release is not evidence that tokens entered circulation or were sold. Review the coverage, sources and assumptions below.
Each color segment in the chart corresponds to a specific allocation group described in the Allocations section below. Underlying assumptions and data models used to reconstruct this schedule are explained in detail under Assumptions, while broader utility insights and token use cases are covered in Tokenomics & Utility.
Tokenomics & Utility
Supply and distribution
MemeCore’s documentation states that M had an initial supply of 5 billion coins at its token-generation event and a documented maximum supply of 10 billion. The additional supply is tied to block rewards. The network’s consensus documentation describes M being minted for block rewards and says that changing reward issuance would require a hard fork supported by community consensus. In simple terms, a hard fork is a change to the blockchain’s underlying rules. (docs.memecore.com)
The published allocation divides the token supply into five categories: 58% community, 15% foundation, 13% core contributors, 12% investors, and 2% Meme Treasury. The community share is intended to support participation and growth. The foundation allocation supports development, while the Meme Treasury is designated for activities such as creator and community incentives. These categories show the plan for distributing tokens; they do not describe how many coins are held by each group at a given moment. (docs.memecore.com)
What M does
M has several jobs within the chain. Users spend it on transaction fees when they transfer assets or interact with applications. Validators commit it to qualify for block production, and holders can delegate it to participate in network rewards. MemeCore’s token documentation also lists governance rights among M’s uses. This gives the coin a role in the operation of the blockchain as well as in its community economy. (docs.memecore.com)
The reward system can also involve tokens issued by other projects. MemeCore’s PoM documentation describes a reserve funded with 5% of each newly created MRC-20 token’s supply. It assigns one percentage point to rewards for M stakers and four percentage points to rewards for eligible meme-token stakers. Those reserves are separate from M’s own supply and give newly launched projects a way to connect with network participants. (docs.memecore.com)
Assumptions
MemeCore started with 5 billion M tokens, split by the documented shares: 58% community, 15% foundation, 13% core contributors, 12% investors and 2% meme treasury, with up to 10 billion M in total, the rest created as block rewards of 30 M per block. The official docs give the shares but no unlock dates; only secondary sources report a monthly release of about 56.1 million M from December 2025, which the chart shows through December 2026 as an estimate. Everything after that, the earlier unlocked portions, the meme treasury, the pre-fork block rewards, the Viral Grants Reserve and burns, has no sourced dates or amounts. The chart shows the genesis supply, the monthly unlock estimate and the estimated block reward issuance from July 2025 onward.
- Community: Only secondary sources describe the timing, so it is not confirmed.
- Foundation: Only secondary sources describe the timing, so it is not confirmed.
- Core Contributors (Team): Only secondary sources describe the timing, so it is not confirmed.
- Investors: Only secondary sources describe the timing, so it is not confirmed.
- Meme Treasury: The sources give the amount but no release dates.
- PoSA Block Rewards: The sources give the amount but no release dates.
- Viral Grants Reserve (share of block rewards): Releases depend on recipients claiming tokens or on grants being awarded.

Allocations
Parts of this allocation with their own release dates are charted as their own allocations; the chart shows the rest here.
Not yet scheduled: 2,733,057,912.054 tokens of its parts have no release date yet. The chart shows them as TBD from today, not as unlocked.
