Jeff (JEFF) Token Unlock & Vesting Schedule
The chart shows gross modeled releases of every allocation: vesting unlocks, new issuance and reserve distributions, each allocation counted once. These have different meanings; a scheduled release is not evidence that tokens entered circulation or were sold. Review the coverage, sources and assumptions below.
Each color segment in the chart corresponds to a specific allocation group described in the Allocations section below. Underlying assumptions and data models used to reconstruct this schedule are explained in detail under Assumptions, while broader utility insights and token use cases are covered in Tokenomics & Utility.
Tokenomics & Utility
JEFF has a stated maximum supply of one million tokens. A maximum supply is the upper limit set for the asset. It is different from a wallet balance, which shows how many tokens a particular holder controls, and from a trading order, which shows how many a holder offers to exchange. Hyperliquid’s HIP-1 design supports capped supplies and allows supply to decline through certain fee or burn mechanisms, depending on a token’s settings and activity. (coingecko.com)
The project’s published material presents JEFF chiefly as a meme and community asset. Its practical uses are holding it, transferring it, and trading it on supported markets. The project website concentrates on its tribute message and trading link rather than setting out a system of holder benefits. As a result, the token’s economic model is best understood through its fixed supply, its market access, and the interest people take in its theme. (jeff100x.com)
A token’s role should also be kept distinct from the wider blockchain’s features. Hyperliquid supports smart contracts and HYPE staking, but those are features of the broader ecosystem. JEFF’s published materials do not describe a separate JEFF staking program, voting system, or claim on Hyperliquid’s operations. (hyperliquid.gitbook.io)
Assumptions
JEFF appears to have been created as a capped Hyperliquid HIP-1 token, with a reported maximum of 1,000,000 tokens. The chart places that initial supply in June 2024 as an estimate because JEFF was known to exist by June 4, but its actual mint date and recipient allocations were not verified. No dated vesting or other JEFF release budget was found, and the reported 1,596-token gap between maximum and current supply cannot be classified as a verified burn from the accessible records.
