Brevis (BREV) Token Unlock & Vesting Schedule
The chart shows gross modeled releases of every allocation: vesting unlocks, new issuance and reserve distributions, each allocation counted once. These have different meanings; a scheduled release is not evidence that tokens entered circulation or were sold. Review the coverage, sources and assumptions below.
Each color segment in the chart corresponds to a specific allocation group described in the Allocations section below. Underlying assumptions and data models used to reconstruct this schedule are explained in detail under Assumptions, while broader utility insights and token use cases are covered in Tokenomics & Utility.
Tokenomics & Utility
Brevis set BREV’s total supply at 1 billion tokens. Its published allocation divides that supply among ecosystem development (37%), community incentives (28.7%), the team (20%), investors (10.8%), and airdrops (3.5%). The team and investor allocations had a one-year initial lock, followed by linear releases over 24 months. Ecosystem and community allocations also follow scheduled releases after their initial unlocks. These rules describe how tokens enter use over time, separate from what any individual holder does with them. (blog.brevis.network)
BREV has three active roles in ProverNet:
- Payment: Applications pay proving, verification, and settlement fees in BREV. Provers receive the token for completed work.
- Staking: Provers lock BREV to qualify for jobs. Holders can also delegate tokens to provers and receive an agreed share of proving fees.
- Governance: Holders can vote on network settings, including proof requirements, slashing rates, and marketplace fees. (blog.brevis.network)
Staking also gives the marketplace a way to enforce service commitments. A prover’s stake can be reduced for violations such as missing a deadline or failing to meet a job’s requirements; delegated stake is subject to the same mechanism. Brevis has described a dedicated rollup as a future home for ProverNet. If that move takes place, BREV is planned to serve as its gas token as well. (blog.brevis.network)
Assumptions
Brevis calls its token BREV and sets a fixed one-billion-token supply across ecosystem, community, team, investor and airdrop allocations. Its published plan unlocks 250 million at the January 2026 launch, releases the remaining ecosystem and community tokens over 24 months, delays team and investor vesting for a year, and reserves a later five-million-token airdrop release. The chart can show those dated unlocks, with monthly vesting displayed as an estimate rather than observed payments. Named exchange campaigns, market-maker loans and foundation-funded rewards have incomplete transfer or claim records and are not added to the primary allocation totals.
