Aevo (AEVO) Token Unlock & Vesting Schedule
The chart shows gross modeled releases of every allocation: vesting unlocks, new issuance and reserve distributions, each allocation counted once. These have different meanings; a scheduled release is not evidence that tokens entered circulation or were sold. Review the coverage, sources and assumptions below.
Each color segment in the chart corresponds to a specific allocation group described in the Allocations section below. Underlying assumptions and data models used to reconstruct this schedule are explained in detail under Assumptions, while broader utility insights and token use cases are covered in Tokenomics & Utility.
Tokenomics & Utility
Supply and distribution
AEVO was introduced as the governance token for the unified Aevo project. The original plan called for one billion AEVO tokens, with RBN holders able to migrate at a one-to-one rate. The plan kept the existing team, investor, and treasury allocations from Ribbon. It identified 45.6% of the original token supply as belonging to the DAO treasury, including tokens that were already vested and tokens still vesting at the time. (gov.ribbon.finance)
Governance, staking, and incentives
AEVO holders participate in governance over the protocol. Aevo describes a process involving proposals and votes, allowing token holders to help shape decisions about the exchange and its wider ecosystem. Holding the token also connects users to staking: Aevo’s documentation says staking can provide fee discounts, increased rewards, and governance weight. These benefits tie AEVO to participation rather than making it a requirement for understanding every trade on the exchange. (docs.aevo.xyz)
The staking program includes tier-based discounts for perpetual-futures trading fees. Aevo’s governance materials state that these discounts do not apply to options or pre-launch markets. Its incentive plans also include AEVO rewards for eligible trading activity. Separately, governance proposals describe using surplus protocol revenue for token buybacks and set out rules for how bought-back tokens may be held or burned. These decisions show how the project links its treasury and incentive programs to token-holder governance. (agp.aevo.xyz)
Assumptions
Aevo's documented one billion tokens were designated for minting at launch, while its team, investor and community budgets largely carried over from RBN. The inherited vesting terms, voluntary re-lock and treasury earmarks identify substantial allocations, but the sources do not quantify a complete AEVO-era release calendar for them. Binance Launchpool and Aevo trading rewards document further distribution programs whose full payment dates remain unresolved. The dated chart can show the estimated launch-month mint; it should not present undated treasury spending or announced burns as new issuance or verified supply reductions.
