Yield Basis (YB)
Unlock Schedule
Yield Basis (YB) Token Unlock & Vesting Schedule
The chart shows gross modeled releases of every allocation: vesting unlocks, new issuance and reserve distributions, each allocation counted once. These have different meanings; a scheduled release is not evidence that tokens entered circulation or were sold. Review the coverage, sources and assumptions below.
Each color segment in the chart corresponds to a specific allocation group described in the Allocations section below. Underlying assumptions and data models used to reconstruct this schedule are explained in detail under Assumptions, while broader utility insights and token use cases are covered in Tokenomics & Utility.
Tokenomics & Utility
YB, rewards, and voting
YB is the protocol’s incentive and governance token. It is distinct from the tokens that record a user’s share of a particular liquidity pool. A provider can choose a route focused on trading-fee yield or stake their position tokens in a gauge to receive YB emissions instead. A gauge is a contract that tracks staked positions and distributes rewards. The protocol’s interface presents these as trading-yield and token-yield choices. (binance.com)
YB holders can lock their tokens to receive veYB, short for vote-escrowed YB. Locking gives them voting power that depends on the amount locked and the lock period. Among other decisions, veYB holders can direct how YB rewards are allocated across eligible markets. They can also receive a share of protocol fees through the system’s fee-distribution rules. Locking commits the YB for the selected period, rather than leaving it immediately transferable. (docs.yieldbasis.com)
The stated maximum supply is one billion YB. The issuer’s distribution plan assigns 30% to incentives, 25% to the team, 12% to investors, 12.5% to the ecosystem, 7.5% to protocol development, 7.5% to Curve licensing, 3% to initial liquidity and early incentives, and 2.5% to the public offering. Team and investor allocations have scheduled vesting, while incentive tokens are distributed through an emissions system. These schedules spread different categories of tokens over time rather than releasing them all in the same way. (docs.yieldbasis.com)
Assumptions
Yield Basis calls its token YB. Sources describe 700 million tokens at genesis, investor and team vesting, launch sales and rewards, and a 300 million-token reserve for staking-dependent liquidity incentives. Several ecosystem, early-incentive and Curve distribution dates remain unresolved. The chart can show dated launch events and estimated vesting, plus an estimated path between supply observations; future gauge rewards have no fixed documented release schedule.
- Liquidity Incentives and Gauge Emissions: New issuance depends on network activity, such as staking, so it cannot be dated in advance.
- Ecosystem: The sources give the amount but no release dates.
- Binance Wallet Prime Sale: Timing not yet established.
- Curve Licensing: New issuance depends on network activity, such as staking, so it cannot be dated in advance.
- Initial Liquidity and Early Incentives: The sources give the amount but no release dates.
- Early LP Rewards: Releases depend on recipients claiming tokens or on grants being awarded.
- pyUSD/crvUSD Pool Incentive: The sources give the amount but no release dates.

Allocations
Parts of this allocation with their own release dates are charted as their own allocations; the chart shows the rest here.
Not yet scheduled: 208,750,000 tokens of its parts have no release date yet. The chart shows them as TBD from today, not as unlocked.
Estimated from the last observation onward: about 140,521 per day (4,277,094 per month), the rate between the observations of 18 July 2026 and 1 October 2026.
