The chart shows gross modeled releases of every allocation: vesting unlocks, new issuance and reserve distributions, each allocation counted once. These have different meanings; a scheduled release is not evidence that tokens entered circulation or were sold. Review the coverage, sources and assumptions below.

Tokenomics & Utility
Supply, distribution, and participation
The Avalanche C-Chain token contract records a supply of 10 billion ARENA. The project distributed tokens to users through an airdrop. An Avalanche community publication described the initial economic plan as allocating 31% to early users and 69% to future growth and incentives. Supply, allocation, and the number of tokens available for use are different ideas: a token can exist on-chain while being held for a later program. (snowtrace.io)
ARENA’s clearest documented role is governance. For the platform’s first proposal in November 2024, users staked unlocked tokens to vote on whether The Arena should build an Avalanche Layer 1. Each user could cast one vote, with its weight based on the amount staked at the proposal’s snapshot. This gave token holders a direct way to express a view on a major product decision. (medium.com)
Staking also connects ARENA to the Arena Champions program and its participation benefits. In September 2026, the project introduced a newer staking arrangement with Moats on Robinhood Chain, using a LayerZero bridge for users moving from the earlier system. The team has also described a multichain staking approach. In everyday terms, staking means placing tokens in a designated arrangement to qualify for the rules and benefits attached to it; those rules can change as the platform develops. (arena.social)
Assumptions
The Arena minted 10 billion ARENA in August 2024. Its reported V1 airdrop, two future-incentive pools and treasury have launch, monthly or quarterly unlock schedules, but most allocation figures and detailed dates are available here only through an independent dashboard. Uprising, staking and other named rewards have announced mechanisms or budgets without enough token amounts and payment dates to chart their actual distributions. The chart can show the verified mint and clearly labeled estimates of potential unlocks; it does not establish how many reward tokens recipients actually received.
