Epic Chain (EPIC) Token Unlock & Vesting Schedule
The chart shows gross modeled releases of every allocation: vesting unlocks, new issuance and reserve distributions, each allocation counted once. These have different meanings; a scheduled release is not evidence that tokens entered circulation or were sold. Review the coverage, sources and assumptions below.
Each color segment in the chart corresponds to a specific allocation group described in the Allocations section below. Underlying assumptions and data models used to reconstruct this schedule are explained in detail under Assumptions, while broader utility insights and token use cases are covered in Tokenomics & Utility.

The ERN-to-EPIC transition
Epic’s migration announcement set a one-to-one exchange rate: one ERN became one EPIC. It listed 30 million tokens for each contract at the time of the swap and said the change of name would keep the existing tokenomics and lockup schedule. The swap sent exchanged ERN to a burn address, removing those old tokens from circulation through that process. Epic later closed its swap portal. (resources.cryptocompare.com)
The economic model is easier to understand by separating EPIC’s roles. The migration materials describe staking, transactions, and governance as uses within the blockchain ecosystem. The white paper also describes voting on project decisions and plans for staking rewards involving other ecosystem tokens. A governance vote helped shape the project’s identity during the rebrand, showing how community decisions have figured in its history. (resources.cryptocompare.com)
Travel gives EPIC a different use: membership access. Epic advertises premium concierge service for holders who meet its EPIC holding requirement. The concierge is presented as help with trip planning, rates, and bookings. The project advertises booking cashback in XRP, so EPIC’s travel role is mainly connected to access and benefits rather than being the token used for every reward. (epicchain.io)
Assumptions
The EPIC contract created 30 million tokens for a 1:1 swap from ERN and permits additional governor-controlled mints. Dated supply snapshots show the total rising by 3.6 million between November 2025 and February 2026, but they do not reveal the mint date; the chart estimates that interval rather than claiming monthly payments. The original sale, team, reserve, ecosystem and rewards budgets are listed separately as legacy allocations, with much of their EPIC-specific release timing unresolved. Future minting remains possible, so the current 33.6 million supply is not a verified lifetime cap.
- Governor-controlled additional minting: Releases depend on future governance or treasury decisions.
- Legacy private round: Only secondary sources describe the timing, so it is not confirmed.
- Legacy team and advisors: Only secondary sources describe the timing, so it is not confirmed.
- Legacy reserves: Only secondary sources describe the timing, so it is not confirmed.
- Legacy staking and rewards budget: Only secondary sources describe the timing, so it is not confirmed.
- Legacy staking and rewards budget: Releases depend on recipients claiming tokens or on grants being awarded.
- Legacy partnerships: Only secondary sources describe the timing, so it is not confirmed.
- Legacy ecosystem allocation: Only secondary sources describe the timing, so it is not confirmed.

Description
#1005
Epic Chain is a blockchain project focused on tokenizing real-world assets, using an XRP-native platform to put things like real estate and commodities on-chain. It operates as an EVM-compatible sidechain and Layer 2 for scaling and speed.
