DAO Maker (DAO) Token Unlock & Vesting Schedule
The chart shows gross modeled releases of every allocation: vesting unlocks, new issuance and reserve distributions, each allocation counted once. These have different meanings; a scheduled release is not evidence that tokens entered circulation or were sold. Review the coverage, sources and assumptions below.
Each color segment in the chart corresponds to a specific allocation group described in the Allocations section below. Underlying assumptions and data models used to reconstruct this schedule are explained in detail under Assumptions, while broader utility insights and token use cases are covered in Tokenomics & Utility.

What holding and staking DAO does
DAO is chiefly useful within the DAO Maker platform. Staking it creates DAO Power for private offerings, while DAO Boost gives the token a role in public-sale allocations. The token has also been described as part of DAO Maker’s governance design. Its most clearly documented everyday functions, however, are tied to staking and access to offerings. (coingecko.com)
DAO Maker’s staking documentation describes options on Ethereum and BNB Smart Chain, with a Solana staking route as well. On Ethereum, users select an amount and a staking period. The system calculates rewards using shares, which depend on the amount staked and other staking settings. The daily reward pool can vary, so rewards are calculated from the pool and a staker’s share of the total, rather than from a fixed number of tokens promised each day. (dao-maker-1.gitbook.io)
The project’s original token distribution was designed to support several groups and purposes, including token sales, the team, foundation activities, customer incentives, and ecosystem growth. That approach reflects the token’s two jobs: supporting participation by users and helping fund the platform’s development. DAO Maker’s early token-economy materials also discussed fees from its products as a source of ecosystem rewards. The platform’s present staking documentation explains how rewards are shared in practice. (uy1625.medium.com)
Assumptions
DAO Maker reports that it minted 312 million DAO at launch and assigned them to nine sale, team, foundation and incentive budgets. Its current tokenomics page gives vesting periods for most budgets and says all are unlocked; the chart can show those unlocks, with estimated monthly placement where only relative durations are published. The Foundation's exact vesting duration and actual spending from several budgets are not dated well enough to chart, while DAO staking rewards redistribute manually funded tokens rather than create new ones. The official mint and burn figures reconcile with each other but conflict with the supplied October 1, 2026 total-supply reference.
- Customer Incentives (10% of original supply): Releases depend on recipients claiming tokens or on grants being awarded.
- DAO-Managed Foundation (10% of original supply): Releases depend on future governance or treasury decisions.
- Ecosystem Growth (9% of original supply): The sources give the amount but no release dates.
- Foundation (7% of original supply): The sources give the amount but no release dates.
- DAO staking rewards from a manually funded pool: The sources give the amount but no release dates.

Allocations
Parts of this allocation with their own release dates are charted as their own allocations; the chart shows the rest here.
Not yet scheduled: 53,040,000 tokens of its parts have no release date yet. The chart shows them as TBD from today, not as unlocked.
Backend estimate, not researched: the growth of CoinGecko's total supply (103,381 tokens) over 2023-12-25 to 2026-10-01, where the research dates no issuance
