Cookie DAO (COOKIE)
Unlock Schedule
Cookie DAO (COOKIE) Token Unlock & Vesting Schedule
The chart shows gross modeled releases of every allocation: vesting unlocks, new issuance and reserve distributions, each allocation counted once. These have different meanings; a scheduled release is not evidence that tokens entered circulation or were sold. Review the coverage, sources and assumptions below.
Each color segment in the chart corresponds to a specific allocation group described in the Allocations section below. Underlying assumptions and data models used to reconstruct this schedule are explained in detail under Assumptions, while broader utility insights and token use cases are covered in Tokenomics & Utility.
Tokenomics & Utility
Supply and distribution
COOKIE has a stated total supply of one billion tokens. The project’s published distribution plan assigns portions to early supporters and investors, the team, marketing, ecosystem incentives, airdrops, and the DAO treasury. It sets aside 18% for staking, liquidity, and listings, 10% for ecosystem incentives, and 8% for the community treasury. Those categories show how the token was designed to support both platform development and participation. (docs.cookie.community)
Governance and staking
The DAO constitution sets out how token-based voting works. Holders use COOKIE through the stated staking function to vote on proposals, with one vote assigned to each token used that way under the constitution’s basic rule. Proposals can concern the DAO’s activities, token functions, partnerships, or treasury spending. The constitution gives a group called the Chef’s Council the role of submitting proposals for a wider tokenholder vote. (assets.cookie.community)
Staking also creates Cookie Points, which are used to set participation tiers. Points depend on both the amount of COOKIE staked and the length of the chosen pool. A longer pool applies a larger points multiplier. The project documents describe pools lasting 30, 90, 180, or 365 days. Points are tied to an active stake; they are separate from the transferable COOKIE token. (docs.cookie.community)
Assumptions
Cookie DAO states a one-billion-COOKIE maximum and allocates that budget among investors, public buyers, airdrops, a combined staking and liquidity reserve, ecosystem programs, contributors and the treasury. Published cliff and vesting terms support a monthly chart through the treasury’s stated 36-month vesting period, but several chart amounts are estimates because the allocation breakdown changed after the original schedule. Airdrop claims, the revised reserve’s use, staking-reward payments and governance-directed spending lack complete dated records and are not shown as known monthly releases. The chart separates the estimated creation of the initial supply from later unlocks and does not treat the unresolved difference between maximum and reported total supply as a proven burn.
- Pre-Sale — 2.95% of maximum supply: The sources give the amount but no release dates.
- KOL round identified separately in whitepaper: The sources give the amount but no release dates.
- Bybit IDO — 0.80% of maximum supply: The sources give the amount but no release dates.
- COOKIE airdrops — 2% of maximum supply: The original schedule was changed and the new timing is not yet published.
- Staking, liquidity and listings reserve — 18% of maximum supply: The original schedule was changed and the new timing is not yet published.
- COOKIE staking rewards from the combined reserve: The sources give the amount but no release dates.
- Governance-directed spending from the DAO treasury: Releases depend on future governance or treasury decisions.

Description
#1253
Cookie DAO is a decentralized collective governing the Cookie3 ecosystem. It uses the COOKIE token for governance and utility, allowing holders to influence treasury allocations and access token-gated features within the ecosystem.
