Catizen (CATI) Token Unlock & Vesting Schedule
The chart shows gross modeled releases of every allocation: vesting unlocks, new issuance and reserve distributions, each allocation counted once. These have different meanings; a scheduled release is not evidence that tokens entered circulation or were sold. Review the coverage, sources and assumptions below.
Each color segment in the chart corresponds to a specific allocation group described in the Allocations section below. Underlying assumptions and data models used to reconstruct this schedule are explained in detail under Assumptions, while broader utility insights and token use cases are covered in Tokenomics & Utility.
Tokenomics & Utility
Supply and allocations
CATI has a fixed maximum supply of 1,000,000,000 tokens. The economic model divides the supply into community programs and long‑term development buckets with clear cliffs and linear unlocks. The official tokenomics outline:
- Airdrop and Ecosystem: 43% (Airdrop 34% with seasonal releases; Launchpool 9%).
- Liquidity: 5%.
- Treasury: 15% (10% at TGE, then 12‑month cliff and 48‑month linear release).
- Team: 20% (12‑month cliff, 48‑month linear release).
- Investors: 10% (12‑month cliff, 48‑month linear release).
- Advisors: 7% (12‑month cliff, 48‑month linear release).
This structure aims to combine an initial circulating supply for users and markets with multi‑year schedules for builders, investors, and advisors. (docs.catizen.ai)
Independent overviews published around the Binance Launchpool campaign echo the split between airdrops (34%) and Launchpool (9%), summing to 43% for community and player programs. Several trackers present the same full allocation mix noted above. (binance.com)
Roles of the token
In Catizen, CATI serves as:
- Utility: access to certain features, events, and in‑game enhancements, including play‑to‑airdrop seasons.
- Governance: holders can take part in community decision‑making as the foundation rolls out proposals for the ecosystem.
- Incentives: staking and task participation can lead to third‑party utility tokens or in‑game rewards through the launchpool and task center.
- Cross‑ecosystem glue: the token links Telegram gameplay, TON Jettons, and planned Mantle integrations into a single economy. (docs.catizen.ai)
Catizen’s docs also reference “wCATI,” a wrapped form used in specific campaigns to boost airdrop shares, showing how the team experiments with formats that fit the Telegram/TON user journey. (docs.catizen.ai)
Assumptions
Catizen says all one billion CATI were minted in August 2024; the chart keeps that creation separate from later unlocks. At the September 2024 TGE, the player airdrop, launchpool, liquidity allocation and part of the treasury became available, while the treasury remainder, team, investors and advisors follow published cliff-and-linear-vesting terms. Three later airdrop seasons have reported pools and claim openings, but the remaining player-airdrop budget lacks a reliable amended release calendar. The chart shows sourced releases and labeled calendar estimates, not proof that every claim, vesting transfer or proposed burn occurred.
- Later player airdrops — 19% of maximum supply: The original schedule was changed and the new timing is not yet published.
- Exchange-deposit promotion — funding allocation unestablished: Releases depend on recipients claiming tokens or on grants being awarded.
