Boundless (ZKC) Token Unlock & Vesting Schedule
As of October 17, 2026, 318.24 million ZKC have been released. The schedule is ongoing, with no final release date. Over the next 12 months it releases 291.67 million ZKC (all estimated) mostly from Investors and Core team and early contributors, worth about $10.27 million at today's price (85.87% of the market cap). Today's release is an estimated 19.62 million ZKC from Core team and early contributors, Ecosystem Fund, Investors, Protocol epoch emissions: PoVW and staking and RISC Zero future hires and research.
The chart shows gross modeled releases of every allocation: vesting unlocks, new issuance and reserve distributions, each allocation counted once. These have different meanings; a scheduled release is not evidence that tokens entered circulation or were sold. Review the coverage, sources and assumptions below.
Each color segment in the chart corresponds to a specific allocation group described in the Allocations section below. Underlying assumptions and data models used to reconstruct this schedule are explained in detail under Assumptions, while broader utility insights and token use cases are covered in Tokenomics & Utility.

Supply and distribution
ZKC launched with an initial supply of one billion tokens. The published initial allocation assigns 41.6% to ecosystem growth, 23.5% to the core team and early contributors, 21.5% to investors, 8.3% to the community token sale and airdrop, and 5.1% to community partner marketing. These categories cover different schedules for releasing tokens, including gradual vesting for team and investor allocations. (boundless.network)
New ZKC is issued as protocol rewards. The annual emission rate begins at 7% and steps down until it reaches 3% from the ninth year of the contract’s schedule onward. Rewards are divided into periods called epochs, each lasting about two days. Of each epoch’s emissions, 75% is assigned to eligible provers who submit valid work, while 25% is assigned to active ZKC stakers. The supply can therefore grow beyond the initial one billion tokens. What ZKC does
ZKC has three connected roles. First, provers lock it as collateral when accepting proof requests. If a prover misses the agreed delivery time, the collateral can be reduced: part is burned, and part becomes a reward for another prover to complete the job. Second, staked ZKC gives holders a share of staking emissions; provers also need stake to qualify for PoVW rewards. Third, staking provides voting power in Boundless governance. Under the token contracts, a holder who starts unstaking waits 30 days to withdraw, and voting and reward power stop when that process begins. (docs.boundless.network)
Developers do not have to pay for every proof in ZKC. The protocol is built to accept payments suited to the chain and application, while ZKC supports collateral, rewards, and governance behind the proving service. (boundless.network)

Values at $0.035 per ZKC (October 17, 2026), today's price, not a forecast. Releases continue after September 2027. Estimated amounts are modeled from the schedule's rules rather than dated by a source; see the Assumptions below. Releases without dates are listed under Allocations.
Assumptions
Boundless began with a one-billion-ZKC allocation covering ecosystem and strategic growth, team and RISC Zero, investors, community sale and airdrops, and partner marketing. Published cliffs and monthly vesting terms date much of the ecosystem, team and investor unlocks through September 2028; milestone payments, some campaigns, and the community sale–airdrop split remain unquantified or undated. The chart can show those dated unlocks and estimated monthly growth between the supplied total-supply observations, while separately identifying the open-ended prover and staking rewards. Reported total supply is not a verified count of rewards actually minted, so actual minted supply and cumulative burns remain unresolved.
- Strategic Growth Fund: Releases depend on recipients claiming tokens or on grants being awarded.
- Community token sale and airdrop: The sources give the amount but no release dates.
- Community partner marketing: Releases depend on recipients claiming tokens or on grants being awarded.
- Binance post-listing marketing campaigns: Releases depend on recipients claiming tokens or on grants being awarded.
- Binance later marketing campaigns: Releases depend on recipients claiming tokens or on grants being awarded.
- Mainnet-beta prover incentives: Releases depend on recipients claiming tokens or on grants being awarded.
- Protocol epoch emissions: PoVW and staking: Releases depend on recipients claiming tokens or on grants being awarded.
- Proof-of-Verifiable-Work prover rewards: Releases depend on recipients claiming tokens or on grants being awarded.
- ZKC staking rewards: Releases depend on recipients claiming tokens or on grants being awarded.
