Aavegotchi (GHST) Token Unlock & Vesting Schedule
The chart shows gross modeled releases of every allocation: vesting unlocks, new issuance and reserve distributions, each allocation counted once. These have different meanings; a scheduled release is not evidence that tokens entered circulation or were sold. Review the coverage, sources and assumptions below.

Tokenomics & Utility
How GHST enters and moves through the ecosystem
GHST is Aavegotchi’s governance token and a common means of payment in its marketplace. Its first distribution used a bonding curve: a smart-contract sale in which people exchanged DAI for newly issued GHST under a set formula. The AavegotchiDAO voted to close that curve in March 2023, ending that method of creating new tokens. The project also describes GHST burns connected to certain marketplace listings and primary sales, which remove tokens from supply. (docs.aavegotchi.com)
Holding GHST gives a person voting power in AavegotchiDAO. Proposals can address matters such as game rewards, treasury spending, or who should take responsibility for parts of the ecosystem. Voting is therefore a practical part of GHST’s role, especially as the project moves toward a broader group of contributors. (docs.aavegotchi.com)
GHST also connects players to the asset economy. It is used for many purchases and sales in the Baazaar, Aavegotchi’s peer-to-peer marketplace. Some competitions distribute GHST rewards under rules approved by the DAO. GHST, Spirit Force, and Gotchus Alchemica serve different purposes: GHST handles governance and many payments; Spirit Force backs ghosts; and Alchemica is a set of resources used in games and crafting. Assumptions
GHST's original sale and fund budgets have published vesting terms, while its public bonding curve changed supply until it closed in March 2023. The chart combines estimated creation of the original budgets with an estimated path between a few documented total-supply figures; it does not show verified monthly curve transactions. Aavegotchi also distributes existing GHST through player rewards, farming seasons, tournaments, liquidity incentives and grants, but many of those budgets lack established payment dates. The Ethereum supply total is reconciled on that basis; a consistent cumulative figure for cross-chain burns has not been established.
