Animecoin (ANIME) Token Unlock & Vesting Schedule
The chart shows gross modeled releases of every allocation: vesting unlocks, new issuance and reserve distributions, each allocation counted once. These have different meanings; a scheduled release is not evidence that tokens entered circulation or were sold. Review the coverage, sources and assumptions below.
Each color segment in the chart corresponds to a specific allocation group described in the Allocations section below. Underlying assumptions and data models used to reconstruct this schedule are explained in detail under Assumptions, while broader utility insights and token use cases are covered in Tokenomics & Utility.

Supply and distribution
ANIME has a total supply of 10 billion tokens. Its published allocation divides that supply among six groups: (anime.xyz)
- Azuki community — 37.5%, reserved for eligible early supporters.
- Community cultivation — 13%, intended for community initiatives and future AnimeDAO management.
- Domain expansion — 24.44%, assigned to the foundation for grants, operations, and ecosystem growth.
- Partner communities — 2%, reserved for eligible aligned communities.
- Team and advisers — 15.62%, assigned to early contributors.
- Company — 7.44%, assigned to Azuki as a continuing contributor.
The first two allocations together account for the 50.5% that the project describes as going directly to its community. The Azuki community and partner-community allocations were fully unlocked at launch. Other allocations follow schedules extending over three years. Team and company tokens, for example, were locked for the first year, then began unlocking under the published schedule. These rules describe how the original supply is released over time; Animecoin’s regulatory disclosure describes no automatic supply adjustment tied to demand. (anime.xyz)
What ANIME does
The token’s clearest day-to-day job is paying gas on Animechain. It also supports participation in AnimeDAO, the project’s community-governance framework. The foundation describes plans for token holders to help decide matters such as grants, ecosystem upgrades, and treasury funding. ANIME can also be used by applications built around collectibles and other fan experiences. The exact features available to a holder depend on the application and its rules. (anime.xyz)
Assumptions
Animecoin's reported 10 billion tokens were initially issued around its January 2025 launch and assigned to six primary budgets. Community and partner tokens unlocked at launch, while the Foundation, community-cultivation, team and company budgets have published cliffs or monthly unlock terms extending to January 2028. The chart can show those dated unlocks, with estimated calendar placement for monthly payments; it cannot show complete claims, grant payments or treasury spending because their dates and amounts are not established. Binance separately documented a 500-million-token airdrop, but its funding parent within the original supply is unidentified.
